At Holistic Gardening Company, we design gardens that are not only beautiful, but good for the planet.

The idea that a garden could be bad for the environment may come as a surprise, but many plants advertised as “drought tolerant” are not always good for our California environment and wildlife, and certain species are terribly invasive. Although environmental stewardship is at the heart of our designs, we understand how to blend the needs of the California landscape with features that people love, too.

Our idea of holistic design includes the dreams and desires of human beings, and it’s critical that each space is enjoyed maxmimally by its owner. We specialize in crafting drought tolerant landscapes that offer ever-green color, and a bouquet of year long flowers. We believe that the garden should be a place of relaxation, inspiration, beauty, and joy.

Our years of experience in maintaining native and drought tolerant gardens gives us an advantage, as we understand what each garden design will look like one, two, five plus years post installation.
